Designed for both strength and aesthetics, the Slipfence HORIZONTAL Fence system seamlessly merges the durability of Aluminum with the timeless beauty of wood. The system incorporates 3” Square Aluminum Fence posts and two custom-designed left and right Aluminum “U” Channels. Paired with regular-sized 5/4 Deck boards (1” thick), these boards effortlessly slide down the channels attached to the Aluminum Fence Posts.The Slipfence HORIZONTAL Fence system is meticulously crafted to seamlessly blend the strength and durability of Aluminum with the warmth and beauty of wood. Our approach involves combining 3" Square Aluminum Fence posts with custom-designed left and right Aluminum "U" Channels, paired with regular 5/4 Deck boards (1" thick). These boards easily slide down the channels attached to the Aluminum Fence Posts, resulting in a residential yard fence that offers the cozy privacy of natural wood without the risk of warping, cracking, leaning, or rot. When weathered wood boards require replacement, a simple process allows for easy removal and insertion of new ones, rejuvenating the fence without the need for new concrete posts. For added appeal, consider attaching the Slipfence Horizontal Cap Rail to the top of the finished panel for a clean, polished look on your fence panels. Here are specific details about the Horizontal Fence: 13 deck boards stacked are required to create a 6-foot-tall fence panel. Slipfence Horizontal is recommended to be built in 6-foot-wide panels. 5/4” Deck boards are available in 12-foot length and can be cut in half for use in the Horizontal Fence panel. An 8’ high Horizontal fence can be created using the Slipfence HCK08, which is 8-foot-long channels. It takes 17 boards stacked and is recommended to be in 6-foot-wide panels (set posts to be 6 feet between posts). A 7’ high fence panel can be created from the 8’ channel by cutting the channels at exactly 81” from the bottom. The 7’ high Slipfence Horizontal fence takes 15 boards stacked and is also recommended to be in 6-foot-wide panels (set posts to be 6 feet between posts).
